Unique introduction of 5086 aluminum sheet
A common alloy in the transportation, aerospace, and architectural decorating industries, 5086 aluminum sheet is strong and resistant to corrosion. Its primary constituents are silicon, manganese, chromium, magnesium, aluminum, and other elements; magnesium has the largest content and superior welding and mechanical qualities. Because the alloy’s constituent parts have improved corrosion resistance, Al-Mg and Al-Mn alloys are referred to as rust-proof aluminum. According to the magnesium alloy composition, the al-mg alloy is 5005 5252 5251 5050 5052 5754 5083 5056 5086, whereas the representatives of the aluminum-manganese alloy are 3003, 3004, and 3105.

Common applications include pressure vessels, refrigeration equipment, TV towers, detection equipment, transportation equipment, missile parts, armor, etc., that need stringent fire protection, as well as situations requiring high corrosion resistance, good weldability, and medium strength, such as ships, cars, and aircraft panels that can be welded.
